[Listening: Misread by Kings of Convenience]
So… I realize that I haven’t updated since Thailand, and I apologize… There are many reasons behind this really, but I don’t really have the time or the energy to go through them… Basically, I’ve made a change… I realized that before going to Thailand I was spending too much time writing emails, posting on this site, etc., and, by doing this, I was missing out on a lot that was going on around me… So, I decided to make this change… I probably won’t be updating as often… It’s not because I don’t love you guys, but it’s because I’m trying to make the most of everything and keep myself sane and happy… And I think it’s the best thing for now… I need to live here with the tangible people a little more than before…
Thailand, however, was amazing… It was exactly what I was looking for… Dominique and I basically did nothing but laugh the entire time (talk about two weeks of witty banter… that girl keeps me on my toes), which I think is exactly what we both needed… So, it was definitely a win/win situation… I’ve tried to put pictures up multiple times, but the program seems to hate me or something… I will get them up as soon as possible, though… So keep checking the photos and maybe one day there will be a little surprise…
Let’s see… What else… I’ve learned a lot about people in the past few weeks… Some really good things, some bad things, but, in all honesty, I really think everything is working out for the best… Life is good… And just know that I’m really happy… Probably the happiest I’ve been in a really long time…
don’t be ashamed with your trouble with living, it’s the ones with the sorest throats that’ve done the most singing…
